Obituary



Sean Allen Steckline, age 47, of Kansas City formerly of Hays, Kansas passed away Friday, November 15, 2019 at the North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born August 1, 1972 in Hays to Gordon and Diane (Gerstner) Steckline.

Sean was working as a Maintenance Technician for Main Event in Kansas City. He was a graduate of Hays High and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and pool.

He is survived by his parents Gordon and Diane of Hays; a brother, Kurtis Steckline of Hays; a sister, Tacey Steckline of Hays; a nephew, Joshua Labandeira and three nieces, Bailey Steckline, Hailey Zeman and Lilly Zeman.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Esdore and Roberta Steckline and his maternal grandparents, Verlin and Betty Gerstner.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Friday, November 22, 2019 at Brocks-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory 2509 Vine Hays, KS 67601.

Visitation will be 1 PM until service time at the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sean Steckline Memorial Fund in care of the family.
