Vivian Ouderkirk

Vivian Ulleen (Hagen) Ouderkirk, age 57 of Palco, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville. She was born on March 16, 1951 in Hays to Ernest and Freida (Sauer) Hagen. She graduated from Ellis High School in 1969. Vivian was a CNA at the Lutheran Home Manor in WaKeeney for 22 years. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Ellis where she was baptized and confirmed. Vivian enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and had a special fondness for horsesSurvivors include her mother, Freida Hagen of Palco , two daughters, Cappy Werner and husband Ronald of Plainville and Wendy Knipp and husband Mark of Damar, five grandchildren, Dalton and Shania Werner of plainville, Shelby, Cameron and Connor Knipp of Damar. Vivian is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and CousinsShe was preceded in death by her father Ernest Hagen. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 24th at Christ Lutheran Church of Ellis. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Keithley Funeral Chapel, Ellis and 9:30 A.M. until service time on Saturday at the church. A prayer service will be at 7:00 Friday at the funeral home
