Steven Kurth

Steven Kurth, age 68, of Ellis formerly of Chase, Kansas passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at his home. He was born July 31, 1942 in Marshalltown to Merlin and Henrietta (Woollard) Kurth. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam and he was a retired oilfield worker.He is survived by a daughter, Shelly Kurth of Wichita, KS; two grandchildren, Preston and Faith; two brothers, James Kurth of Tama, IA. and Mike Kurth and wife Wava of Marshalltown; a sister, Barb L. Ohrt of Marshalltown as well as many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Kurth.Private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Marshalltown, Iowa.
