Sandra Bostelman

Sandra Kay Bostelman, age 67 of Hays, formerly of Dixon, IL. Passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at the Hays Medical Center. She was born on September 28, 1942 in Rochelle, IL. to Stanley and Hazel (Pettenger) Olson. Sandra attended Rochelle Schools, graduating in 1960. She married William Bostelman in Sterling, IL. in December 1982.Sandra was a graduate of the Rockford School of Business and had been employed by the Rochelle Municipal Utilities in Rochelle. She retired as Vice President from A.E. Bogott & Sons, which is a metal fabrication, company in Sterling, IL. She is survived by her husband, William Bostelman of Hays; her mother, Hazel of Rochelle; a daughter, Shelly Lewis and husband Michael of Rock Falls, IL.; two step-sons, Bill Bostelman and wife Grace and Matthew Bostelman all of Sterling; three grandchildren, Paige Lewis, Alen Lewis and Brady Bostelman all of Rock Falls; a sister, Georgia Dillon and husband Donald of Indiana; two brothers, Edward Olson and wife Barbara of California and David Olson and wife Barbara of Tennessee.Her father preceded her in death.Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Dreiling/Schmidt Cancer Institute and may be sent in care of Brock's North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays.
