Ronald Ray Werth, age 66 of Schoenchen, died Wednesday, March 25 at the KU Medical Center. He was born on January 6, 1943 in Schoenchen to Adolph and Serbina (Zimmerman) Werth. He married Carol Nichols on December 18, 1976 in Hays. He was a Truck Driver and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Schoenchen.Ron is survived by his wife Carol of Schoenchen; a son, Bryan Joseph Werth and wife Roxanne of WaKeeney; five daughters, Rebecca Mead and husband Kendyl of Russell, Kimberly Ellison and husband Brian of Osawatomie, Ramona Legleiter and husband Lester of Hays, Amy Bailey and husband Ray of St. Louis and Molly Werth of Schoenchen; nineteen grandchildren, Misty Mihm, Tyler and Morgan Werth, Sonya and Ethan Stanton, Dylan Pfeifer, Dallas Mead, Audrey Ehrlich, Michael, Kyle, Hunter and Harley Ellison, Chase and Jesse Legleiter, Alyssa Weeks, Brianna, Brennen and Celestia Bailey, Logan King; two great grandchildren, Serenity Friedline and Michaela Ehrlich, two brothers, Leon Werth and wife Joan of Great Bend and Duane Werth and wife Kathy of Albuquerque; a sister, Marva Klaus of Leavenworth.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Leslie Werth.Funeral services will be at 10:00 Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Schoenchen. Burial will be in the church cemetery.Visitation will be on Sunday 5:00 - 8:00 with a parish vigil at 6:00 all at Brock's North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays.Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ronald Werth Memorial fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
