Roberta "Robbie" Lynn Beck

Robbie Beck, age 58, a loving, caring, and hardworking woman whose kindness touched the lives of many, died on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at HaysMed in Hays.

Robbie dedicated more than 30 years of her life to caring for others, working as a CNA and CMA. Caring for people wasn’t simply a job for Robbie—it was something she did with her heart. Through the years, she helped countless people during some of their most difficult and vulnerable moments. Her compassion, patience, and willingness to help made a difference in the lives of the people she cared for, as well as their families.

Outside of work, Robbie found joy in the simple things that made life special. One of her greatest loves was her Chihuahua, Odie. Odie was more than just a pet; he was her companion, her little shadow, and a very important part of her life. The love Robbie had for Odie showed the gentle and caring heart that she carried with her every day.

Robbie also loved garage saling and thrift store shopping. She could spend hours looking through treasures, always enjoying the excitement of finding something special or unexpected. For Robbie, it wasn’t just about shopping—it was about the adventure, the memories made, and the little things that brought happiness to an ordinary day.

Robbie will be remembered for her dedication to others, her loving heart, her love for Odie, and her enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures. She leaves behind memories that will be cherished by everyone who knew and loved her.

Although her time with us was far too short, the love and kindness Robbie gave to others will continue through the lives she touched. Her years of caring for others were a gift, and her memory will remain a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Robbie was preceded in death by her parents, Sue and Larry Fonner; her siblings, Julie Killen and Larinda Marjors; and her husband, Lyndall Beck.

Robbie is survived by her daughters, Calese Young (Jason Wasson), Kathleen Kuhlmann (Anthony Kuhlmann), and Celia Young (Tim Paris); and her grandchildren, Jackson, Grant, and Zach Young, Ben and Kennedy Wasson, Isaac, Vince, and Shelby Thayer, Brandt McLaughlin, Jace Ynesta, and Taylor Paris.

A Celebration of Robbie's Life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM at the Stockton Senior Center, 201 South Walnut Street, Stockton, Kansas 67669.

Cremation is under the direction of Keithley Funeral Homes and Crematory – Brock's Chapel, 2509 Vine Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.
