Reinhold Boschowitzki

Reinhold J. "Reiny" Boschowitzki, age 90, of Ellis, Passed away Wednesday, December 22nd at the Ellis Good Samaritan Center. He was born on January 22, 1920 in Rural Ellis County north of Ellis to Joseph and Louise (Werb) Boschowitzki. He married Margaret Johnson on July 4, 1964 in Ellis at the Congregational Church.Reiny was a farmer and a truck driver for Ellis County. He retired from the county after 30 years of service. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing his Accordion and he was also an avid horse lover.He is survived by his wife, Margaret of Ellis; a daughter, Amy Herl and husband A.J. of Ellis and three grandchildren, Jared, Katelyn and Ryan Herl all of Ellis. His parents and two brothers, Frank and Oswald, preceded him in death.Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Keithley Funeral Chapel 400 E. 17th in Ellis. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.Visitation will be Sunday 5 - 7 p.m. and Monday 10:30 a.m. - service time. There will be a prayer service Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Memorial contributions are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church in Ellis.
