Raymond Dennis Pember

Raymond Dennis Pember - age 71 of Emporia, Kansas passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at his home. He was born on February 24, 1952, in Jetmore, Kansas, the son of Raymond Earl and Jessie Lorene Stewart Pember.  He married Kim Wendler on October 11, 1970, in Dodge City, Kansas.

He was a Floor Covering Contractor for over 40 years.  Dennis loved his family, friends, and nature – especially his retirement years with his granddaughters.  He had a great sense of humor, cared deeply about life, and our planet.  He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Kim, of the home; his children, Raymond Paul Pember, of Emporia, KS; Wendy Dawn Monteith, of Randolph, OH; his grandchildren, Audri Smith; Syd Monteith; Clarissa Pember and Amelia Pember; his great-grandson, Jaxon Smith; his sister, Carol Harfmann and husband, Eric, of Hays, KS. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Duane and Kevin; and his sister, Verna.

Cremation is planned with a gathering of family and friends later.
