Patricia Louella Bieker

Patricia Louella Bieker, age 88, of Ellis, Kansas passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Lincoln Park Manor in Lincoln, Kansas. She was born June 24, 1937, in Ellis, Kansas to Howard and Elizabeth (Zerfas) Keagy.

Pat married Ralph L. Bieker on September 5, 1953, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellis. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2010. Pat worked for Ellis USD 388 as a cook and volunteered for many local organizations. Including cooking at the VFW, Knights of Columbus and St. Mary’s events throughout the years. As a cook at the local schools the students enjoyed her homemade bread so much that they gave her a nickname of “The Bread Lady”.

Pat was a member of St. Mary’s Church, VFW Auxiliary, Daughters of Isabella, AARP and she volunteered for many years as a senior companion.

Pat will be remembered as a devoted wife to Ralph and a woman of strong Catholic faith.

Survivors include her children, Linda Feldt of Augusta, Kansas, Becky (Dennis) Luck of Lincoln, Kansas, Mark Bieker of Ellis and Mike (Debbie McAuley) Bieker of Wichita, Kansas; a brother, Terry Zerfas of Ellis; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Sullivan, Erika Mitchell, Heather Luck, Holly (Jake) Norman and Katie Bieker; nine great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; sisters, Marilyn Furbeck and Beverly Meadows; a brother, Gary Zerfas and a son-in-law, Robert G. Feldt.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Keithley Funeral Homes-Ellis Chapel 400 E. 17th Ellis, KS 67637. Interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ellis.

Visitation will be on Saturday at 10:00 AM until service time at the chapel.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Mary’s School or St. Mary’s Church.
