Pablo Serrano Jr.

Pablo Serrano Jr., age 60, of Hays, Kansas died Thursday, March 12, 2026, surrounded by his family in Hays.

Pablo was born on October 10, 1965, in Presidio, Texas to Pablo Serrano Sr., and Petra Alcantar.

Pablo never knew a stranger and opened his door and his heart to all he met. He and his wife, Rosalinda, always shared their home with extended family and friends, whether gathering for a meal or providing shelter for others.

He never sat idle and lived his life 24 hours at a time. Pablo worked as a Seismic laborer in the oil field.

This last February, Pablo secured his spiritual future by receiving the ordinance of baptism in the Apostolic Church. This gave him peace and solace in knowing what the next chapter of his life was going to be.

He was blessed to have a wonderful family that brought him great joy. Survivors include his wife, Rosalinda (Burciaga) Serrano, son: Pablo Serrano III, daughter: Mireya (Mitch Stull) Serrano, all of Hays, Kansas. His father: Pablo Sr., brother: Omero Serrano, sister: Nancy Serrano, all of Texas. Grandchildren: Kordyante Stull, Remahliel Stull, and Max Paul Serrano-Stull. He was preceded by his mother, and granddaughter: Kailani Rose Serrano-Stull.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Keithley Funeral Homes and Crematory - Brock's Chapel, 2509 Vine Street Hays, Kansas 67601. Viewing and Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Chapel prior to services. Interment will follow the services in the Green Mound Cemetery, Palco, Kansas.

Pablo nació el 10 de octubre de 1965 en Presidio, Texas, hijo de Pablo Serrano Sr. y Petra Alcántar.

Pablo nunca conoció a un desconocido y abrió su puerta y su corazón a todos los que conocía. Él y su esposa, Rosalinda, siempre compartían su hogar con familiares extensos y amigos, ya fuera reuniéndose para comer o ofreciendo refugio a otros.

Nunca se quedó de brazos cruzados y vivió su vida las 24 horas seguidas. Pablo trabajó como obrero sísmico en el campo petrolífero.

El pasado febrero, Pablo aseguró su futuro espiritual al recibir la ordenanza del bautismo en la Iglesia Apostólica. Esto le daba paz y consuelo al saber cuál sería el siguiente capítulo de su vida.

Tuvo la suerte de tener una familia maravillosa que le trajo gran alegría. Le sobreviven su esposa, Rosalinda (Burciaga) Serrano, su hijo: Pablo Serrano III, su hija: Mireya (Mitch Stull) Serrano, todos de Hays, Kansas. Su padre: Pablo Sr., su hermano: Omero Serrano, su hermana: Nancy Serrano, todos de Texas. Nietos: Kordyante Stull, Remahliel Stell y Max Paul Serrano-Stull. Le precedieron su madre y su nieta: Kailani Rose Serrano-Stull.

Los servicios funerarios serán el miércoles 18 de marzo de 2026 a las 11:00 en Keithley Funeral Homes and Crematory - Brock's Chapel, 2509 Vine Street Hays, Kansas 67601.
