Melvin "Mel" Benjamin Karst II, age 71, of Hays, Kansas passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 11, 2025 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Hays. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Monday 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM all at Keithley Funeral Homes and Crematory-Brock's Chapel 2509 Vine Hays, KS 67601.

Memorial contributions are suggested to HaysMed Hospice or the Humane Society of the High Plains in Mel's memory.
