Matthew Aaron Markley – age 48, of Hays, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, January, 27, 2026, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas. He was born August 23, 1977, in Hays, Kansas, to Rick Markley and Kim (Hamel) Weigel.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Celebration Community Church, I-70 and Exit 157, Hays, Kansas, with Pastor Brant Rice, Officiating.  Burial will be in the Saint Michael the Archangel Cemetery, south of Hays, Kansas.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays and from 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. Thursday, at Celebration Community Church.
