Obituary



Mary "Suzie" Kathleen Proctor, formerly of Hays, Kansas, passed on June 25, 2022 at Wilson Care and Rehab, Wilson, Kansas. She was born January 17, 1949 to Daniel Pfeifer and Teresa (Casey) Pfeifer. She attended Marian High School and Shenango Valley School of Business. She was married to Richard "Butch" Proctor, and to that union four children were born.

Mary loved her family and the addition of grandkids and great grandkids over the years. Mary will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. She was a great Woman, Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma, Cousin, and friend to many!

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by her son, Richard (Michele) Proctor, Mooresville, NC; her daughters Melissa Proctor (Loran Pfeifer), Hays, KS; Deana (Aaron) Acheson, Russell, KS; and Shannon Proctor, Hays, KS; 12 grandchildren, Derrick Proctor, (Fianc Shelby Shore); Damian Proctor and Kailey Proctor, all of North Carolina; Brittany Proctor, Kansas; Brook Proctor (Keller Lofgren) Colorado; Bo Neely, Kansas; Hadynn Proctor, Kansas; Kaidyn Proctor, Colorado; Braidyn Proctor, Kansas; Jadynn Proctor, Oregon; Joleigh and Calvin Acheson, Kansas, and her two great grandchildren, Kashawn & Kamryn Proctor, Kansas.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Brock's-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 2509 Vine street Hays, Kansas 67601, with Pastor Troy Miller officiating. Inurnment will follow the services in the St Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral chapel.
