Mary Lou Erbacher Campbell, age 86, passed away Wednesday, September 9th at the Hays Medical Center. She was born on June 17, 1923 in Hays, Kansas to Gabe and Josie (Wolf) Rupp. She married Earl Erbacher then later married Robert Campbell and was preceded in death by both.She was a Homemaker and worked at Sears of Hays for many years before her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, a past church choir member, Perpetual Eucharistic Adorers, Daughters of Isabella and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.Mary Lou is survived by four sons, George Erbacher (Diane) of Tulsa, Chris Erbacher (Pam) and Dan Erbacher (Hallie) all of Greeley, Colorado and Charles "Pody" Erbacher (Sue) of Hays; two daughters, Mary Schumacher (Ed) and Lori Erbacher all of Hays; a step-daughter, Diane Seibert (Bucky) of Alexander, KY.; three brothers, Bill Rupp of Greeley, CO., Tom Rupp of Salina and Jim Rupp of Albuquerque, NM.; a sister, Nitzie Wasinger of Hays; a double first cousin, Wilma Hoover of Hays; thirteen grandchildren, Jessica Weber (Scott), Julia, Jacquelyn and Luke Erbacher, Jill Eaton (Steve), Jennifer Rodriguez (Gabe), Jesse Erbacher, Joey and Cody Erbacher, Megan and Mark Erbacher, Traci and Scott Schumacher and four great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Charles, Ernest, Donald and Daniel Rupp.Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.Visitation will be Sunday 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. and Monday 8:30 A.M. - 9:00 A.M. at Brock's North Hill Chapel Funeral Home, 2509 Vine, Hays.The Adorers Rosary will be at 5:30 P.M. followed by the VFW Auxiliary Memorial service at 5:45 P.M., A combined Daughters of Isabella and VFW Ladies Auxiliary Rosary will be at 6:00 P.M. and a Parish Vigil Service will be at 6:30 P.M. all on Sunday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions are suggested to the Capuchin Friars or St. Joseph's Church.
