Marvin Kuhn

Marvin A. Kuhn, 80, Hays, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at Rush County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 8, 1933, in Gorham to Anton and Philomena (Schmidtberger) Kuhn. He married Doris D. Von Feldt on April 23, 1953, in Hays. She preceded him in death.

He was a truck driver for Hunter and Allied Inc. until his retirement in 1998.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in Hays.

He is survived by five sons, Larry and wife, Joyce, Gorham, Duane and wife, Patty, and Marvin J. and wife, Sandy, and Terry and wife, Becky, all of Hays, and Jerry, Phoenix; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Almeda Kuhn and Alameda Ash.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Brock's North Hill Chapel.

There will be a Knights of Columbus rosary at 6:30 p.m. Monday, followed by a parish vigil at 7 p.m., both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
