Marlin G. Knouf

Marlin Gayle Knouf age 70 passed away Saturday August 9th 2025 at Rooks County Health Center. He was born July 21st 1955 in WaKeeney, Ks to Galen and Vera Brown Knouf. He graduated from Trego Community High School, after High School he served as a mechanic in the army from 1973 to 1976. After the army, he returned to WaKeeney, Ks to work as a mechanic for his father. Most of life he worked in the oil field.

Marlin loved the outdoors, fishing, playing darts and spending time with his dogs Kado and Cy-Bar.

He is survived by his sons, Kirk Allen (Cindy) Knouf of Quinter Ks, Mason Nichol of Hill City, Ks. One daughter Abbygayle Nichol of Hill City, Ks. Two Grandchildren, Caleb Knouf of Quinter, Ks. and Kaylee Knouf of Quinter, Ks. One great grandchild Juniper Knouf.

Marlin also had many other children and grandchildren he loved as his own.

Marlin was preceded in death, by his parents, and his three siblings. Brenda Knouf, Tony Knouf, and Gary Knouf.

Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Friday, August 15, 2025 at the Kansas State Veterans' Cemetery at WaKeeney, Kansas. Military Honors courtesy of the Hays VFW Honor Guard.
