Obituary



Margie Marie LeSage passed away Saturday, January 30th, 2021 at Good Samaritan Society in Hays, Kansas. She was born July 20, 1925 in rural Graham, Kansas to Elery and Blanche Fitch. She was the youngest of three children.

She married Chet LeSage on October 16, 1948. They made their home in Stockton, Kansas until moving to Hays in 1987. Margie was a beautician for 40 years, most of the time working in her shop in her home. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sports, especially watching KU basketball. Margie was a member of the Christian Church in Stockton for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, and a grandson Leon LeSage.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherry (Mike) Muir of Hays, KS; stepson Larry LeSage, three granddaughters, Stacie (David) Jackson, Amy Muir, and Pamela (Scott) Sprague, and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to HaysMed Hospice. Checks made payable to the organization may be sent in care of Brock's-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory 2509 Vine Hays, KS 67601.

Private inurnment will be in Stockton, Kansas, at a later date.
