He was born March 29, 1943 at Hays, Kansas, to Joseph P. and Helen (Vonfeldt) Meis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 18, 2026, at St Catherine’s Catholic Church in Catharine, Kansas, with Celebrant, Father Earl Befort O.F.M. Cap.. Burial in St. Catherine’s Cemetery with Military Honors by the Victoria V.F.W. Post # 1751.
A Vigil Service and a V.F.W. Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. Friday, at Clines-Keithley Mortuary of Hays
