Kerwin Sramek

Kerwin A. Sramek, age 71, of La Crosse, Kansas passed away Monday, July 20, 2026 in La Crosse. He was born November 23, 1954 in Stratton, Nebraska to Raymond John Sr. and Alice (Heble) Sramek.

Kerwin grew up in La Crosse graduating from La Crosse High School in 1973. He was a Mechanic by trade with the ability to fabricate just about any car parts needed to finish the job. He was a proud, strong-willed mechanic with a love for drag racing. He was a proud uncle to his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his siblings, Marshall Sramek of Overland Park, Melinda Adib, and her husband, Ali of Gilbert, AZ, Rod Sramek, and his wife, Paula of La Crosse, Sarah Duffy, and her husband, Michael of Salina, Sheila Smith of Hutchinson, Joe Sramek, and his wife, Tammi of La Crosse, Jill Postier, and her husband, Brent of Wichita, David Sramek, and his wife, Lisa of Wichita, Michelle Basgall, and her husband, Steve of Augusta, and Raymond Sramek, Jr., and his wife, Amy of Wamego; a brother-in-law, Kean Dunback of Wamego; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Vanessa Dunback, Nyla J. Smith and her husband Troy, a brother-in-law, Danny Smith, and two nephews, Austin Adib and Jason Duffy.

No services are planned at this time. The family will hold a memorial in the near future for memories to be shared with friends..
