Kenneth Bieler

Kenneth L. Bieler, 58 of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009 in Van Buren. He was born Jan. 3, 1951 in Topeka, KS. His parents are Burgess and Doris (Schneider) Bieler.He was employed by Midsouth Steam Boiler for 17 years as a Supervisor. He graduated from Ellis High School in 1969. He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his mother Doris Bieler of Ellis, a daughter Crystal Bieler of Fort Smith; two sisters, Mary Jo Hartman of Preston, Kansas, Donna Dewey of Danville, Missouri and one grandchild.He was preceded in death by his father.Funeral services will be at 10:00 Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church of Ellis. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Ellis.Visitation will be at the church on Thursday 9:00 until service time.Memorial contributions are suggested to the Donor's Choice.
