John Williams Sr.

John M. Williams Sr. age 76, of Hays, Kansas passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at his home. He was born January 3, 1950, in North Carolina to Harold Grant and Vera Mae Frances (Hibbs) Williams. He married Barbara Maria (Kreigler) on December 23, 1966, and they renewed their vows in 2011.

He worked in construction most of his life, and also worked for Peggy Daily on their family farm. He grew up in Hays, and attended Hays High School. He enjoyed painting, and the outdoors.

Cremation has been selected by the family. A private service and inurnment will be held at a later date.
