Jarett Frazier Wynn, age 21, of Hays, KS formerly of Colwich, KS died on November 2, 2020, in Hays. Jarett was born on August 27, 1999 in Wichita, KS to Larry Dale and Trina K (Schmidt) Wynn. He attended and graduated from Andale High School.

Jarett also attended WATC, graduating with his degree in Police Science, together with Friends University, and was enrolled at Kansas State University.

He was an accomplished musician, proficient with many instruments, including the bassoon. He was the drum major during his four years at Andale High School. Jarett competed in the Odyssey of the Mind participating in many world final appearances. He also competed in the Best Robotics National Finals. Jarett had a love for reading and was rarely seen without a book in his hand.

He is survived by Mother: Trina Wynn of Cimarron, KS; Father: Larry Wynn (Kelly) of Wichita, KS; Sister: Lindsey Stepanek (Jonathan) of Hays, KS; Brother: Alex Wynn (Bethany) of Harrisonburg, VA. Grandfather: Chet Schmidt (Sue) of Arlington, KS; Nieces: Eleanor Wynn and Parker Stepanek; Aunts: Cindy Walker (Doug) Diana Strunk (Jeff); Uncle: Jeff Wynn (Kathy), together with many extended family and friends.

Preceded in death by his Grandpa and Grandma, Frazier and Dixie Wynn, and Grandma, Vera Schmidt.

Graveside Services will be Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Copeland Cemetery, Copeland Kansas. Memorial Visitation will be Friday, November 6, 2020 from 6 PM to 9 PM at the Valley View Bible Church, 908 East Main Street, Cimarron, KS 67835.

In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to: Jarett Wynn Memorial Fund, care of Sunflower Bank, 1010 E. 27th Street, Hays, KS, 67601, benefitting the education of his nieces.

Services in care of Brocks-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 2509 Vine Street, Hays, KS 67601.
