Jake Sprenkle, age 36, of Hays, Kansas died Tuesday August 13, 2024, in Hays.
He was born October 3, 1987, in Dodge City, Kansas to David and Lori (Burleson) Sprenkle. Jake was a 2006 graduate of Dodge City High School and attended Emporia State University.
An avid outdoorsman, Jake found peace and joy in the art of fishing, his other passions were hunting, and NASCAR, but nothing made him smile more than his three children: Jakson, Kinley, and Ellie. He especially enjoyed cheering on his kids and supporting them in their sporting events and activities.
He met Melissa Wilson in high school and later married in 2009 in the North Oak Community Church - Hays. He was an Inventory Coordinator for Nex-Tech Wireless but more often than not he could be found spending time with his family or at the lake.
He is survived by his wife and children: Melissa Sprenkle; son: Jakson; daughters: Kinley and Ellie. Survivors also include his parents: David (Lori) Sprenkle of Olathe, KS; , his sister: Hali (Cody) Trabert of Hays, KS and nephews: Benton and Colson: grandmother: Barbara Sprenkle of Garden City; in-laws: Ross (Cindi) Wilson of Hays, KS
Jake was preceded by his grandparents: Joe and Jo Ann Burleson, Raymond Sprenkle and his sister-in-law: Meagan Wilson.
Memorials are suggested to the Jake Sprenkle Memorial Fund at Bank of Hays for his children's education.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM at North Oak Community Church, 3000 Oak Street Hays, Kansas 67601. Memorial Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time at the Church.
