Hubert Francis Dreiling, 95, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away peacefully April 1, 2026. He was born October 3, 1930, in Victoria, Kansas to Dionysius P. and Mary (Paul) Dreiling.

Hubert graduated high school in Victoria and proudly served in the United States Navy from October of 1951 to October of 1955. He went on to have a long and rewarding career as a machinist for (TWA) Trans World Airlines in Kansas City, MO.

In his spare time he enjoyed working with wood, watching Royals baseball and KU basketball. He adored spending time with man’s best friend, his dogs Beanie, Taco and Diego.

He was very devoted to both his Catholic faith and his family. He married Jane Theresa (Leiker) on July 7, 1956, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hays, KS. The couple became long-time members of St. Therese Parish in Kansas City, North.

In addition to Jane; survivors include his four children, Larry Dreiling of Parkville, MO; Carrie Ledbetter of Camden Point, MO; Jay Dreiling of Kansas City, MO; and Lori Corbett of Gladstone, MO; his brother, Julius Dreiling (Darlene) of Victoria, KS; his grandchildren, Eric Dreiling; Brian Dreiling; Christopher Ledbetter (Megan); David Ledbetter (Kelsey); Amanda Ledbetter; Bradley Corbett; Chad Corbett; and Megan Corbett; his great grandchildren: Dayton Dreiling (Jaci); Briana Shannon; Jackson Ledbetter; Colt Ledbetter; Alaina Reed; Lucas Stielow; Raylie Wiles; Kaden Wiles; and Parker Wiles; and his great-great grandson, Luca Dreiling.

Hubert was preceded in death by his parents, Dionysius P., and Mary Dreiling; his brothers, Emmanuel Dreiling; Herbert Dreiling; Rudolph "Rudy" Dreiling; Clarence Dreiling; Alvin D. Dreiling; his sisters, Mary Lorinda Loughrige; and Leona Giebler.

Visitation 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at St. Therese Catholic Church with the Mass of Christian Burial commencing at 10:30 a.m.

A committal service with military honors will immediately follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Therese Parish.
