Gerard Dickinson

Gerard Dickinson, age 78 of Hays, Kansas died Thursday, April 10, 2025, at The Good Samaritan Society - Ellis.

Gerard was born on December 23, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to George and Mary (Hood) Dickinson. He was raised and attended schools in PA which created a lifelong bond with the sports teams of Philly, including the Eagles, and Phillies.

His greatest passion in life was being able to spend time with his family, play a little golf from time to time, and enjoy a drink while sitting on his porch soaking in the sunshine.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughters: Dawn (Matthew) Grezeszak, Kate Schippers and partner Ivan Robles, all of Hays, KS; four grandchildren: Madelynn Robinson of Castle Rock, CO, Cason Grezeszak, Sera Schippers, and Declan Schippers all of Hays, KS. He is also survived by a brother: George Dickinson of Pennsylvania.

Gerard was preceded by his parents; and his siblings: Robert Dickinson, James Dickinson, William Dickinson, and Mary O’Shea.

Private family services will take place later.
