Obituary



Evelyn Engleman, age 95, of Graham County, Kansas died Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Via Christi Village - Hays. She was born February 1, 1926, to Maurice and Julia (Raddenberg) Wanker.

She married Robert N. Engleman on May 26, 1943, in Maryville, MO. She was a homemaker, helped with the farming and enjoyed time gardening, sewing, and time together with family traveling to Colorado in their RV/Camper. When the kids were grown she and Bob traveled the United States on motorcycle and by car, as well as enjoyed multiple trips to Europe.

Survivors include her son: Bruce (Mary) Engleman, Owasso, OK; daughters: Pamela Lynn, Topeka, KS; Julie (Steve) Paul, Hays, KS; Barbara (Bob) Goodrow, Hays, KS; and Ellen (Tom) Spies, Sidney, NE. Nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren plus one to arrive this fall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2017; son: Bobby; son-in-law: Bill, and grandson: Brent.

Graveside inurnment services provided by Phil Stinemetz will be Monday, September 20, 2021, at 1:00 PM in the Penokee Cemetery - Penokee, KS.
