Earl H. Davis, Jr.

 Earl Henry Davis, 74, passed away on February 26, 2024, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas surrounded by his wife and children. He was born April 23, 1949, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Earl Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Tittle) Davis, Sr. 

On September 22,1973, Earl married Judy A. Krier in Dubuque. Earl worked at Duke Drilling, White Ellis, and South Wind Drilling. Earl retired after he got hurt in the oil field. He loved fishing and hunting and playing on his play station 4.

Earl is survived by his son, Earl H. (Tammy) Davis, III, Great Bend, KS; daughter, Candy Lynn Nichols, Salina, KS; sons Allen Wayne Davis, Wichita, KS; Aaron Michael Davis, Timken, KS; 8 grandkids, Bruce Davis, Davenport, IA; Johnny Davis, Christine (John) Richardson, Kim (John) Erickson, all of Dubuque, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mary, his two sisters, Meriatta Flynn, Dubuque, IA; and Beverly Jean Rowland, Hutchinson, KS.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM at Keithley Funeral Homes and Crematory - Brock's Chapel, 2509 Vine Street Hays, KS 67601.
