Diana Santamaria

Diana L Santamaria (Nee-Groff), age 59 of Kingwood, TX. passed away on Sunday, June 6th in Kingwood. She was born on Feb. 13, 1951 in Hays, Kansas to Homer and Doris Groff. She graduated from Hays High School in 1969. She married Vic Santamaria on November 22, 1989 in Wichita, Kansas. Mother first, friend, adviser, and mentor to all / Artisan of life and love she will be missed. As "the sweeping up the heart and putting of love away will not want to use again until eternity". Diana is survived by her Husband, Vic Santamaria of Kingwood; four children, Todd Burns, Chelsey Radar, Joe Price and Brea Ann Price; two step children, Christine Leetch and Karen Blaine, her mother, Doris Groff of Hays; a brother Phil Groff (Pam) of Hays; two sisters, Sandy Rafferty (Curt) of Lee's Summit, MO. and Linda Calderone (Ned) of Lake In The Hills, IL; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Alexandra, Meryiah, Summer, Hadley, Grayson, Emily, and Masie. Plus all individuals near and far that loved her dearly during her 59 years of privilege on this earth. She was preceded in death by her father, Homer Groff. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday at Brock's North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays. Interment will be in Mt. Allen Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday evening 6-8PM with Diana's family present. Saturday visitation will be from 9:30 AM until service time all at the funeral home. Contributions are suggested to the Colon Cancer Coalition.
