Delphine Stramel

Delphine Stramel age 93, of Hays, Kansas passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Via Christi Village Nursing Home in Hays, Kansas.

She was born on October 30, 1932, in Pfeifer, Kansas to Joseph G. and Rose (Schmidt) Urban. She married Verlin G. Stramel on September 25, 1954, in Pfeifer, Kansas, and he preceded her in death on September 9, 2015.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 28, 2026 at the Holy Cross Church, Pfeifer, Kansas with Concelebrants, Father Michael Leiker and Father Reginald A. Urban. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pfeifer, Kansas.

A Vigil Service and Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, and from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Friday, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Pfeifer, Kansas.

The family suggests memorial made payable to: Holy Cross Charities, INC in care of Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.
