David Wood

David Michael Wood, age 68, of Hays passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Hays Medical Center. He was born  in Alhambra, California to Leo Ray and Jacqueline Margaret (Watkins) Wood.

He was an Ordained Evangelist and received an honorary Doctorates of Divinity from World Christian Ministries. He was working on campus ministry and he was a published author. He was a US Marine veteran serving in Vietnam.

He is survived by a brother, Jonathon Wood and a sister, Heidi Lewis both of California.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place and private inurnment was held at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery in WaKeeney.
