Obituary



David Allan Craven age 62, of Hays, Kansas died Monday, February 28, 2022, at his home.

He was born August 11, 1959, in Russell, Kansas to Harold Dean and Mary Alice (Fleming) Craven. He married Rosalyn (Pearce) on August 27, 1982, in Hays, Kansas.

He worked the last six years at Wal-Mart in maintenance and was at EnerSys for 14 years. He grew up in Russell, and Hays. He attended Russell High School and was a 1977 graduate of Hays High School. He enjoyed cruising around in his car and listening to rock and roll.

Survivors include his wife, Rosalyn Craven, of the home; his son, Dennis Craven, of Hays, KS; and his brother, Michael Craven and wife, Darla, of Hays, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister Lois LaRue and her husband, David.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Clines-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.

The family suggests memorials payable to the organization: St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or Tunnel To Towers {honoring military and first responders} in care of the mortuary.
