Obituary



Darrell Lynn Ambrosier, 71, of Almena, KS passed away on September 8, 2021, surrounded by family. Darrell was born on August 18, 1950 in Hill City, KS to Alva and Doris Ambrosier.

Darrell was drafted into the army to serve a peacekeeping mission in South Korea. After serving in the army, Darrell worked as a lifetime farmer.

Darrell is survived by his children Rick (Denise) Ambrosier, of Abilene, KS, Shelly (Mickey) Davis, of Salina, KS, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Darrell is preceded in death by his wife, Pat Ambrosier, parents, Alva and Doris (Hendershot) Ambrosier, five brothers and two sisters.

When Darrell wasnt working, he enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He touched many lives with his generosity.

Private family services with Military Honors will be held at the Kansas State Veterans' Cemetery at WaKeeney. Inurnment will be in the Columbarium Wall at the Cemetery.
