Daniel Reid Wallace

Daniel Reid Wallace was born June 11,1971 to Leon "Bud" Wallace and Marilyn (Hobbie) Wallace. Dan graduated from Lucas-Luray high school in 1989. Dan met the love of his life Cyndy Chrisman in Hays KS they were married July 17, 1993. Dan and Cyndy were blessed with 3 children Alisha (Andrew) Wilkinson, Bradley (Kylee Hollingshead) Wallace, Ben Wallace and grandchildren Sydney and Austin Wilkinson.

Dan loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching the KC Chiefs and the KU Jayhawks. Dan enjoyed fishing, hunting and working in his garden.

Dan worked at EnerSys for 34 years where he made many friends.

Dan was preceded in death by parents Bud and Marilyn Wallace and brother Brad Wallace.

Dan is survived by siblings Debbie (Kim) Ward Lawrence, KS Don (Larean) Wallace Orlando, FL, Kathy (Blake) Grabast Osborne, KS. Karen Wallace Topeka KS, Scott Wallace Topeka, KS sisters-in-law Karen D Wallace Chanute, KS Chris Chrisman Wakeeney, KS Cheryl Chrisman (Ted Shrope) Biglerville PA many loved nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 2 PM at Keithley Funeral Homes and Crematory - Brock's Chapel, 2509 Vine Street Hays, Kansas 67601 with Pastor Chad Pritchett officiating. Dan's family will receive visitors from 1 PM until service time at the funeral chapel.

Cremation under the direction of Keithley Funeral Homes and Crematory. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to: Hospice at HaysMed or The Osborne County Fair Board in care of the funeral chapel.
