Dale V. Simoneau

Dale Vincent Simoneau, age 58, Hays, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at his home. He was born December 3, 1954 in Hays, KS to Anselm and Ilene (Hamel) Simoneau. He was a 1972 graduate of Palco High School. He married Paula (Thyfault) June 7, 1975 at St. Joseph Church in Damar, KS.

He was an auctioneer and salesman for Farmland Auction and Realty for the last 30 years.

He is survived by two sons, Weston Simoneau and wife Brianne (Dusin) of Overland Park, KS, Philip Simoneau and wife Holly (Bowling) of Ponte Vedra, FL; three daughters, Jana Sutton and husband Robert of Florence, MS, Randi Stephens and husband Greg of Park City, UT and Mary Thyfault of Jacksonville, FL; his parents, Anselm and Ilene Simoneau of Hays, KS; three brothers, Richard Simoneau of Damar, KS, Rodney Simoneau of Lakewood, CO and Bryan Simoneau and wife Dana (Hamel) of Damar, KS; a sister, Sandra Orth and husband Steve of Colorado Springs, CO and seven grandchildren, Will and Drew Simoneau, Ryan, Felix and Brooke Simoneau, and Lauren and Halie Sutton.

He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Donna Simoneau.

Funeral services will be 9:30 AM Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Damar. KS with burial following services in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday 4 PM 8 PM at Brocks North Hill Chapel ~ 2509 Vine ~ Hays, KS 67601. Saturday Visitation will be 9 AM until service time at the church.

A rosary service will be Friday at 6:30 PM followed by a parish vigil service at 7 PM at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Church in Damar or St. Nicholas of Myra Church in Hays.
