Charles Miles

Charles E. Miles, age 59 of Hays, died on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 in Hays. He was born on November 3, 1949 in Great bend, Kansas to Charles L. and Ellen (Buck) Miles. He married Tracey Andreson on Nov. 10, 1973 in LaCrosse, KS.He was a Public Accountant receiving a Bachelors Degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO.Charles is survived by his wife, Tracey of Hays, a son, Charles N. Miles of Peabody, KS., his mother, Ellen Leikam of Corpus Christi, TX., a brother, James A. Kraft of Claflin, KS., two sisters, Glenda L. Cooper of Tonganoxie, KS. and Georgellen McConnell of Corpus Christi and three grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.Cremation has taken place and private family services will be at a later date. Brock's North Hill Chapel Funeral Home handled the arrangements.Memorial contributions are suggested to the VFW or American Legion and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
