Charles H. Freeman

Charles H. Freeman age 79, of Hays, Kansas passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Hays Medical Center.

He was born March 22, 1946, in Tribune, Kansas, to Edward and Neva (Terrill) Freeman.

Charles grew up and attended school in Tribune, and lived in Parsons, Kansas, before moving to Hays in 1975, and was a client with the Reed Center and DSNWK. He worked in janitorial positions in Hays over the years. Charles enjoyed anything that was western, watching movies and sports, looking at cars, the DSNWK dances and road trips.

Charles is survived by his brother-in-law, Mike Boese, Hays, KS; and his DSNWK family. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Mary Lou Boese.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 24, 2025, with Revered Troy Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas at a later date.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, memorials are suggested to DSNWK in care of Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.
