“Andy” Andrew William Dysart, 49, of Auburn, Washington, passed away on May 3, 2026, at his home after a long illness.
He was born in Hays, Kansas, on April 30, 1977, to Robert R. Dysart and Janeth (King) Dysart. Andy grew up in Hays, attending Hays High School with the class of “95”.
Andy moved to Washington State in 1998. He spent several years in Port Angeles, Washington, attending Peninsula College, hiking and enjoying the Olympic Mountains. He later relocated to Kent, Washington, completing his AA Degree at Green River College, and working for Sound Health as a maintenance supervisor.
Survivors include his parents, Bob and Jan Dysart, of Hays, KS; siblings Robert (Teresa) Dysart, of Ogden, UT; Jennifer Dysart, of Auburn, WA; Greg (Traci) Dysart, of Auburn, WA; and Daniel (Tami) Dysart, of Choctaw, OK; his12 nieces and nephews; and their children.
Andy was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Sheri Sanchez.
A private family inurnment was held on May 21, 2026, at Fort Hays memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hays, Kansas.
Services are entrusted to Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.
