Alta Grabbe

Alta Claire Grabbe passed away on July 6, 2026, at Via Christi Village, Hays, Kansas at the age of 87 years old. She was born on August 12, 1938, in Hays, Kansas to Felix Roth and Sophie (Werth) Roth.

Alta was a member of St Anthony Church and the St. Anthony Altar Society in Schoenchen, Kansas.

She is survived by her daughter; Anne (Brian) Lang, and daughter in law, Debbie Grabbe; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Rich Grabbe, son; Michael Grabbe; and sister, Firma Herl.

Services will be held Friday, July 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Church, Schoenchen, Kansas. Visitation will be Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with rosary at 6:30 PM at Keithley Funeral Homes~Brock’s Chapel, Hays, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to: A Different Mindset or St. Anthony Church, Schoenchen, Kansas in care of Keithley Funeral Homes, 2509 Vine, Hays, Kansas.
