Albertine "Tina" Goetz

Albertine C. "Tina" Goetz, age 88, of Hays, passed away on Friday, April 30th at the Hays Good Samaritan Center. She was born July 11, 1921 in Catharine, Kansas to Alois and Rose (Meier) Staab. She married Eugene Andrew Goetz on September 23, 1941 in Catharine, Kansas. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1988.She worked as a waitress at the Brunswick Cafe and then at the Holiday Inn. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Hays.Tina is survived by a son, Jerry Goetz and wife Mary of Pocatello, ID; a daughter, Judy Berens of Hays; two brothers, Walter Staab and Matt Staab both of Hays; five grandchildren, Chris, Mike, Patricia, Catherine and Bill and two great-grandchildren, Autumn and Jacob.Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Hays. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Munjor.Visitation will be Monday 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday 8:30 A.M. - 9:30 A.M. all at Brock's North Hill Chapel 2509 Vine, Hays. A parish vigil service will be at 6:30 P.M. Monday followed by a rosary service at the funeral home.Contributions are suggested to Hays Good Samaritan Center or for Masses.
