Lisa Grubb

Lisa (Heiland) Grubb, age 43, of Ellis, Passed away Thursday, may 10, 2012 at her home in Ellis. She was born May 1, 1969 in Dodge City, Kansas to Ves and Jeanne (Tassett) Heiland. She graduated from Dodge City High School. On December 10, 2006 she married Tom Grubb in Las Vegas.



She was a medical transcriptionist until May 15, 2011 when she had a dissected aortic aneurysm emergency surgery that forever changed her life.



She is survived by her husband, Tom of Ellis; a daughter, Matea Lovato of Minnesota; a son, Alex Lovato of Golden, CO; stepson, Cody Grubb of the home; a sister, Alicia Allen of Colorado and a brother, Brian Heiland of Spearville, KS. She is also survived by lots of other close family and friends.



She was preceded in death by her parents.



Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM Saturday, May 12th at Keithley Funeral Chapel 400 E. 17th Ellis, KS. 67637. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Ellis.



Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of The High Plains.
