Obituary



Kris Shane Fox, age 54, of Ellis, Kansas, passed away February 2, 2020 in Ellis. He was born February 23, 1965 in Hays, Kansas to David Fox and Sheri (Feldkamp). He graduated from Ellis High School and had a masters in psychology from Fort Hays University.

Kris was an avid fisherman. He had a soft spot in his heart for animals. He enjoyed spending time with friends, and he loved to debate differences of opinions with anyone up to the challenge!

Kris was preceded in death by his Mother, Sheri (Feldkamp) Wiesner and his Grandparents Elvon and Ruby Feldkamp and Howard and Donna Fox.

He is survived by his Father David and Wife Alice Fox of Salina, Step Father Greg Wiesner of Ellis, 3 sisters Karla and Husband Martin Weimer, Karen Knoll both of Ellis, Erica and Husband Jason Schulz of Kansas City MO, 3 Brothers, Kevin and Wife Connie Fox of Ellis, Ryan and wife Johana Wiesner of Benbrook, Texas and David and Wife Jennifer Fox of Wichita. 16 Nieces and Nephews, 4 Great Nieces and Nephews, His fishing buddy and cousin Walker Voss along with numerous other cousins and Friends.

A celebration of Kris's life will be held Saturday February 8th at 11:00 at Keithley Funeral Chapel 400 E 17th in Ellis with the family receiving friends at 10:30 AM

The Family would like to give a memorial in Kris's honor to a charity to be chosen at a later date.
