Jose "Joe" Villarreal Jr.

Jose "Joe" Villarreal Jr., age 47, of Ellis, passed away Tuesday, June 14th in Rush County, Kansas. He was born on December 19, 1963 in Sonora, TX. to Jose and Romanita (Rodriguez) Villarreal Sr. He graduated in 1983 from Central High School in San Angelo, TX.Joe was a floor hand for Stewart Well Service of Hays. During his school years he played football and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and listening to Western and Latino music.He is survived by two daughters, Anna Marie Losoya and Natalia Villarreal both of San Angelo, TX; a son, Joe Villarreal III of Arkansas; his mother and step father, Romanita and Philip Hernandez of Ellis and five sisters, Connie Villarreal, Sophie Villarreal, Mikky Villarreal, Romy Villarreal all of San Angelo, TX. and Mary Helen (Ernesto) Fernandez of Amarillo, TX.He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Villarreal Sr.Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 20th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ozona, TX. Visitation will be held at the Preddy Funeral Home in Ozona, TX.
