Albert Ruder Jr.

Albert Ruder Jr., age 72, of Hays, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Society, Ellis. He was born May 3, 1939 in Antonino, Kansas to Albert and Adeline (Korby) Ruder.



He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He had worked at Fort Hays State University as a custodian and as a milkman for LK Dairy. In his younger days he played baseball on traveling teams and he was an avid sports fan.



He is survived by two brothers, Tony Ruder of Hays and Nick Ruder of Shawnee Mission, KS. as well as several nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Albinus Ruder, Julius "Julie" Ruder and Virgil "Hess" Ruder and one sister, Armella Lonnon.



Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at St. Joseph Cemetery in Hays.
