Adelia "Dee" Perrin

Adelia Ann "Dee" Perrin, age 90 of Ellis, formerly of Oberlin, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Trego County Lemke memorial Hospital in WaKeeney. She was born July 24, 1923 in rural Decatur County near Jennings, KS to William and Anna (Flaska) Petrasek.

Dee was a long time Legal Secretary for the Lund Law Firm in Oberlin and then worked part time for the Decatur County Register of Deeds office. She was a member of the Ellis AARP and she enjoyed bowling, gardening, cooking and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, David Perrin of Holdredge, NE and Tim Perrin and wife Denise of Arapahoe, NE; a daughter, Melissa Stanton and husband Tim of Ellis; a sister, Darlene Ferarese of Littleton, CO; two grandchildren, Logan and Jessie Stanton of Hays; three step grandchildren, Jeremy and Ryan Kuck of Omaha, NE and Amy Stritt of McCook, NE and four step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Melvin Petrasek and a sister, Eleanor White..

Services will be 11 AM Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Keithley Funeral Chapel ~ 400 E. 17th ~ Ellis, KS. 67637. Burial will be at 4 PM Wednesday in the Big Timber Cemetery in rural Jennings, KS.

Visitation will be Wednesday 9 AM 11 AM at the funeral home.
