Kathy and family,
My prayers are with you at this time. It seems like only yesterday when we were all involved at the VFW. Gene will be missed by many!

Dearest Aunt Kathy and family,
Paul and I are saddened to hear of Uncle Gene's passing. I will remember his wonderful sense of humor and that great big smile on his face! He was a loving husband, dad and grandfather, and a tender big brother to my mom.
Please know that you are in our thoughts, hearts, and prayers.
With love,
Maryann

Gene gave me my first grown up job, and for that I will be forever grateful. He was a tough but fair boss who treated me like an adult even though I was only 21 years old. I have thought of him so much over the years. I will keep the family in my prayers.

Dear Kathy,
We were so sorry to hear of the loss of Gene. We have many happy memories of the years that we spent in Hays and the kindness you and Gene always showed to us and our family.
Three weeks ago our 35 year old daughter died suddenly so we know the loss you felt as you lost your daughter. Our family has been surrounded by love and support from family and friends. We know that you too are feeling that love. The love of God will get you and us through this time and soon we will see them again face to face...we know that our loved ones are there face to face with God and that is where we all want to be someday.
You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers...In Christ's love~Mary and Mike Charlton and family
