Alice Marie Weber, age 88, of Ellis, Kansas passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Society, Hays, Kansas. She was born September 7, 1928 in Ellis to Celestine and Nettie (Riedel) Dreiling. She married Ralph Weber on July 21, 1947 in Ellis. He preceded her in death July 24, 1991.

She was a homemaker and long-time cook for St. Mary’s School in Ellis. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella both of Ellis. She was a very active member of the church and enjoyed singing and polka music.

Alice is survived by two sons, Ronald (Merrie) Weber of El Paso, Texas and Roger (Dawn) Weber of Disputanta, Virginia; three daughters, Susan (Tom) Veeh of Kansas City, Kansas, Lois Dreher of Hays and Paula (William) Monroe of Warren, Oregon; three brothers, Robert Dreiling of Hays, Clarence Dreiling of Holdrege, Nebraska and Jerry Dreiling of St. John, Kansas; a sister, Freda Eberle of Ft. Collins, Colorado; 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a great granddaughter, Chloe Medina and a son-in-law, Bob Dreher.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellis. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday 6 PM – 8 PM with a combined D of I rosary and parish vigil service at 7 PM all at Keithley Funeral Chapel 400 E. 17th Ellis, KS 67637.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Baldricks Foundation (www.stbaldricks.org)  The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a not-for-profit organization with the aim of raising funds to help find cures for children with cancer.
